Steindorf – Tiffen
Not only very old, but also a rich cultural centre of Carinthia
In autumn 2024, the archaeological investigations started in Tiffen (Steindorf am Ossiacher See district; Feldkirchen district). The starting point of the research work is the sensational finds that have come to light again and again for more than 250 years. This shows that Steindorf has always been a place worth living in and can look back on a rich historical culture. The aim of the project, which is scheduled to run for several years, is to make this tangible past tangible.
