Anita Pignali
Anita Pinagli is an Italian archaeologist with a master’s degree in landscape archaeology and a strong commitment to participatory research, the mediation of conflict landscapes, and the active revival of cultural memory. With a solid academic background and a leadership role in the association Landscapes (Association for Modern Conflict Archaeology and Cold War History), she combines scientific accuracy with a pronounced sense of community in the interpretation and communication of the historical-military heritage in the Canal Valley (Italy) and in Carinthia (Austria).

Studies:

  • She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in Archaeology at the National University of Ireland, Galway, and gained research experience in international projects in Spain, Malta, France, Greece, and Italy.

  • The mediation of conflict landscapes
  • The active revival of cultural memory

Professional experience:
